Job summary

John Cockerill in Mumbai (India) seeks a Procurement Data Controller to manage end-to-end data analytics and reporting for the Global Central Procurement Organization. You will collect and govern procurement data from multiple sources, analyse trends, build dashboards (Spend analysis, cost savings) and collaborate with Finance, IT and procurement teams to drive data-driven decisions.

The role requires 4-5 years in a management control function in industry, with a Masters in finance or business;

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with procurement team members, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

Job Purpose

Control and Manage Procurement Data & KPIs supporting Global Central Procurement Organization.

The Procurement controller role involves proactively managing the end-to-end data analytics and reporting process in support of sourcing and procurement operations.

This includes data intake, data management, and data reporting ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with procurement strategies

The position is based in Mumbai (India) with a global scope across John Cockerill Industry, Energy, Hydrogen, Defense, services and corporate procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: Gather and manage procurement data from various sources. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.


• Data Analysis: Analyse procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings.
