Job summary

Techture is hiring an Assistant BIM Coordinator (Plumbing) to lead plumbing BIM coordination on international projects, ensuring quality deliverables and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will develop and review Revit MEP models, support BEP and CDE workflows, perform clash detection, and mentor junior BIM engineers to ensure timely submission of deliverables. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Dynamo is essential, with a focus on standards and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Plumbing BIM Modelling and Coordination.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of BEP, CDE, LOD, ISO 19650, and QA/QC processes.
• Working knowledge of Dynamo and/or Python scripting for BIM workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Plumbing BIM activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review Revit MEP models in accordance with BEP, LOD, QA/QC, and client standards.
• Develop, review, and maintain Revit Fabrication models and fabrication databases.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, construction documentation, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare and coordinate fabrication spools and spool drawings to support off-site fabrication and site installation.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and close coordination issues on time.

About the Role

Lead Plumbing BIM coordination across international projects while ensuring quality deliverables and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Plumbing BIM activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review Revit MEP models in compliance with BEP, LOD, QA/QC, and client standards.
• Develop, review, and maintain Revit Fabrication models while ensuring proper use and maintenance of fabrication databases in accordance with project and industry standards.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, construction documentation, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate fabrication spools and spool drawings to support off-site fabrication and site installation.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and ensure timely closure of coordination issues.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and project documentation.
• Mentor BIM Engineers and support project delivery.
• Ensure model quality, compliance, and timely submission of deliverables.
• Assist in developing and implementing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for assigned disciplines.
• Conduct regular model audits and QA/QC checks against project LOD and modelling standards.
• Support Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, including model uploads, version control, and issue tracking.
• Coordinate with structural and architectural teams to resolve interdisciplinary clashes and design conflicts.
• Track responses to RFIs and technical queries related to design and coordination.
• Assist in preparing coordination reports and clash resolution logs for client and management review.
• Use and customize Dynamo scripts and other automation tools (e.g. pyRevit, Autodesk Forge/APS) to streamline repetitive modelling, documentation, and QA/QC tasks.

What We're Looking For

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Plumbing BIM Modelling and Coordination.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of BEP, CDE, LOD, ISO 19650, and QA/QC processes.

Technical Expertise

• Domestic hot and cold water supply systems, including pipe sizing and routing.
• Sanitary drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems.
• Storm water and rainwater drainage, including rainwater harvesting systems.
• Fire fighting systems: sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and wet/dry riser networks.
• Pump room layouts, water treatment, and booster pump system coordination.
• Coordination of pipe supports, insulation, and access provisions for maintenance.
