Job summary

Pfizer in Visakhapatnam is hiring for a Logistics & Supply Chain Ops role focused on warehouse movement of medicines and materials. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, follow cGMPs, and maintain accurate inventory documentation.

Requires High School Diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience, advanced Excel and MS Dynamics, and good communication across shifts. You will support process improvements, adhere to SOPs, participate in audits, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to warehousing operations and complete required documentation in the inventory system.

What You Will Achieve

• Assist in identifying required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput, and quality, and make decisions on the best methods and procedures for different work situations.
• Adhere to all SOPs, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), plant safety, quality, and documentation requirements, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with Corporate and Government Regulatory requirements for facilities and processes.
• Provide technical support to hi‑rise operations, resolving issues and offering warehousing expertise, and complete necessary documentation using a computerized inventory system.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience.
• Capable of completing documentation relative to the movement of inventory
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of practices or concepts of Information Management and a working knowledge of practices, concepts and operations within other partner disciplines
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to verbal and written instructions/facility documents
• Ability to operate various types of motorized forklifts
• Proactive & effective communication within and across shifts
• Advanced electronic and computer skills including Excel, Word, Microsoft dynamics, Visio, SharePoint

• Experience in warehousing
• Handling of Isolator and RLAF
• Weighing balance, MES experience
• EWM experience
• Certification in the assigned area, if applicable
