Job summary

Ramboll India is seeking an Assistant Engineer, Aviation to join the Ramboll Engineering Centre. The role involves designing engineering solutions for airport projects, planning airside components, and delivering reports and calculations.

You will collaborate with teams across geographies, ensuring quality, and contributing to client-focused outcomes. The position emphasizes self-initiative, strong communication, and ownership, with exposure to industry-standard design tools and codes such as

Qualifications

• Self-initiative to win and deliver work.
• Knowledge of ICAO, FAA and DGCA codes preferable.
• Exposure to design software FAARFIELD, Open Roads, Civil 3D, AviPlan.
• Experience in planning and design of Airside (2D geometry, 3D grading, marking plan, Aviplan analysis).
• Willing to collaborate across geographies and with design offices.

As our new Assistant Engineer, Aviation you will be part of a committed, performance driven team within Ramboll Engineering Centre. Ramboll is owned by an independent trust and its employees.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Designing engineering solutions for airport projects as per the requirements
• Planning and Design of Airside components
• Design reports, calculations, presentations
• Collaborating within team to achieve technical solutions
• Ensuring required quality standards
• Adhering to ISO quality procedures
• Ensuring project delivery in line with project requirements and client expectations
• Willing to collaborate and contribute to various Business development activities
• Can adopt to working across geographies and collaborate with design offices

Your starting point for constant growth

• To have the drive for self-initiative to both win and deliver work
• Knowledge of airport codes like ICAO, FAA and DGCA preferable
• Exposure to design software such as FAARFIELD, Open Roads, Civil 3D, AviPlan (preferable)
• Experience of planning and design of Airside, like 2D geometry, 3D grading, Marking plan, Aviplan analysis.
• Working towards contractors and attended to site related queries (desirable)
• Should be a team player
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiastic and willing to engage and take ownership of work
