Job summary

Neova Global Fintech is seeking an accounting professional with 3–5 years of experience in stock broking or related CA firm environments. The role focuses on exchange reconciliation, statutory returns, and maintaining general ledger with attention to detail and integrity.

The candidate should understand trading cycles (T+1/T+0), margin reporting, and back-office systems, and hold a commerce degree. Strong Excel skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a reputed stock broking firm or CA firm dealing with stock market audits.
• Understanding of trading cycles (T+1 / T+0 settlements), margin reporting, and broker back-office systems.
• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Masters in Commerce/MBA (Finance).

Responsibilities

• Exchange reconciliation of control accounts (TXN Charge, SEBI Fee & Clearing Charges) on a monthly basis.
• Finalization of GST & TDS returns; liaising with auditors for filing; prepare Cash Flow Statement and balance reconciliations.
• General ledger maintenance including daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and reconciliation of Demat accounts.
• Assist auditors with financial statements and trade-related reports aligned with SEBI/regulatory guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

• Exchange Reconciliation: Reconcile control accounts (TXN Charge, SEBI Fee & Clearing Charges etc.) on monthly basis.
• Statutory Returns: Finalization of GST & TDS Returns on periodical basis and dealing with auditor for filing of the same, preparation of Cash Flow Statement, reconciliation of Demat account, Accruals & Payables, Finalization of books of accounts up to Trial Balance.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Daily monitoring of accounts maintained with Banks & Clearing House, Record daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and expense vouchers in accounting software (specialized broker back-office software i.e. Rising/Shilpi).
• Audit & Compliance Support: Assist internal and statutory auditors by providing financial statements & trade related reports aligned with SEBI or relevant regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Skills: Must be familiar with Rising/Shilpi software (a customized software used for back-office & accounts function), strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a reputed stock broking firm, or CA firm dealing with stock market audits.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of trading cycles (T+1 / T+0 settlements), margin reporting, and broker back-office systems.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's in Commerce/MBA (Finance).
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ethical integrity regarding sensitive financial data.
