Job summary

Kennovation Software Services Pvt. Ltd. in Maharashtra is seeking an Assembly Line Engineer to oversee day-to-day assembly operations of embedded medical devices, including PCB assembly, firmware programming, testing, calibration and packaging.

You will ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance while training operators and maintaining Device History Records, with focus on traceability and on-time production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Production / Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years in medical device assembly, embedded electronics manufacturing, or PCB testing.
• Experience with SMT/THT PCB assembly and testing is a plus.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PCB assembly (SMT/THT) and final device assembly.
• Ensure correct component placement and soldering quality.
• Oversee firmware flashing and version control.
• Monitor daily production targets and maintain shift-wise production records.

Job Summary

The Assembly Line Engineer is responsible for supervising and executing day to day assembly operations of embedded electronic medical devices. The role ensures smooth functioning of the assembly line including PCB assembly, firmware programming, functional testing, calibration, and final packaging while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise PCB assembly (SMT/THT) and final device assembly.
• Ensure correct component placement and soldering quality.
• Oversee mechanical assembly and wiring harness integration.
• Supervise firmware flashing and ensure correct version control.
• Oversee functional testing of motors, sensors, displays, and communication modules.
• Monitor daily production targets and maintain shift-wise production records.
• Track rejection and rework units and report recurring issues.
• Ensure finished goods pass final inspection before packaging.
• Supervise labeling, serial number, and batch number marking.
• Train assembly operators on procedures, safety, and quality compliance.
• Maintain Device History Records and ensure traceability compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Production / Industrial Engineering.

Experience Required

• 2–5 years of experience in medical device assembly, embedded electronics manufacturing, or PCB assembly and testing.

Key Skills

• Understanding of embedded microcontrollers (STM32 preferred).
• Basic PCB troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with multimeter, oscilloscope, and firmware flashing tools.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and assembly drawings.
