Job description

The Role

At Morphle, an Electrical Assembly Engineer is much more than someone who assembles components. You are responsible for bringing our machines to life. Every cable you route, every connector you crimp, every PCB you assemble, and every electrical subsystem you validate eventually becomes part of a sophisticated medical device used by doctors and laboratories across the world.

This role requires a combination of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and technical curiosity. You'll work closely with Electronics, Mechanical, Production, and Quality teams to ensure every assembly meets the highest standards of reliability and precision. Given the nature of our products, quality isn't negotiable. A loose connector, incorrect routing path, or faulty solder joint can impact the performance of an advanced diagnostic system. We are therefore looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy precision work and take pride in getting things right the first time.

If you enjoy building, troubleshooting, and working hands‑on with electronics and electromechanical systems, you'll find this role highly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Assembly
    • Assemble electrical and electronic sub‑systems used in Morphle's medical devices.
    • Perform wiring, routing, termination, and installation of electrical components according to engineering drawings and assembly procedures.
    • Ensure neat, organized, and service‑friendly cable management throughout assemblies.
  • Wire Harness Manufacturing
    • Fabricate wire harnesses including wire stripping, crimping, sleeve installation, connector assembly, and cable routing.
    • Verify wiring continuity and connection accuracy before integration into machines.
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship and assembly quality.
  • PCB Assembly & Soldering
    • Perform SMD and through‑hole soldering for PCB assemblies and rework activities.
    • Assemble and integrate PCBs into larger electromechanical systems.
    • Inspect solder joints and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Perform electrical testing using multimeters, continuity testers, and other diagnostic tools.
    • Validate assembled systems according to established testing protocols.
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly‑related issues.
  • Firmware & Electronics Verification
    • Flash firmware onto controllers and electronic boards as required.
    • Verify functionality of assembled electronic systems.
    • Maintain documentation related to firmware versions and validation activities.
  • Inventory & BOM Management
    • Track and manage electronic components inventory.
    • Coordinate with design and procurement teams for component requirements.
    • Support maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assembly documentation.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement
    • Follow assembly SOPs, quality processes, and documentation requirements.
    • Report process issues and suggest improvements to assembly workflows.
    • Contribute towards reducing assembly errors and improving production efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • 1 – 4 years of experience in electronics assembly, electrical assembly, wire harness manufacturing, or related production environments.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with wire stripping, crimping tools, cable routing, and connector assembly.
  • Experience in SMD and through‑hole soldering.
  • Familiarity with multimeters, continuity testing, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with PCB assembly and electronic system integration.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of firmware flashing and validation is a plus.
