Job Summary

The Assembly Jr. Engineer II at Jabil, Inc. supports manufacturing operations by assisting in the development, optimization, and maintenance of assembly processes and equipment. Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new assembly processes and equipment.
  • Support the optimization of existing assembly processes for improved efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to assembly equipment and processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for assembly defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in a high-volume production setting.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
