Job summary

HypTechie is seeking an experienced AspenTech Application Engineer to support IP21 configurations and Aspen ONE Process Explorer dashboards. The role focuses on historian data, KPI calculations, testing, and hypercare throughout deployment cycles.

The candidate will configure IP21 tags, develop dashboards for site and asset visibility, validate data, and assist during go-live. Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing Systems, or related discipline.
• Must have strong hands-on experience with IP21 and Aspen ONE Process Explorer.
• Experience with historian tags, data flows, and OT systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support IP21 tags and historian data structures.
• Develop Aspen ONE Process Explorer dashboards for site, line, and asset-level visibility.
• Build KPI trends, scorecards, drilldowns, thresholds, and exception views.
• Perform unit testing, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and fixes.
• Provide support during build, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
• Prepare configuration notes, test evidence, deployment steps, and technical documentation.
• Support knowledge transfer and application handover.
