Job summary

AspenTech Offshore is seeking an Applications Engineer to configure IP21 tags and historian data, develop dashboards, and support KPI calculations for offshore operations. This role involves testing, data validation, and hypercare support across the build and go-live phases.

The candidate will work with onsite leads to deliver site-level visibility through Aspen ONE Process Explorer dashboards, validating data against manual reports and datasets, and preparing deployment documentation for

Qualifications

• AspenTech IP21 configuration and historian data handling.
• Aspen ONE Process Explorer dashboard development.
• SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
• Manufacturing KPI calculation and reporting experience.
• Basic understanding of OT systems historian tags and industrial data flows.
• Testing, defect management, and technical documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support required IP21 tags and historian data structures for KPI calculations and dashboard consumption
• Develop Aspen ONE Process Explorer dashboards for site line and asset level visibility using approved wireframes and KPI requirements
• Create dashboard trends, thresholds and exception views as defined by the onsite lead
• Perform unit testing data validation and reconciliation against available manual reports or agreed test datasets
• Support defect triage, root cause analysis and fixes during build, functional testing, UAT and hypercare
• Prepare technical configuration notes, test evidence, deployment steps and knowledge transfer documentation
