Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ASP.NET Core MVC web applications and Web APIs.
• Develop backend functionality and responsive UIs using C#, Razor Views, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement clean, maintainable, and reusable application components.
• Work with Entity Framework Core using the Code First approach.
• Develop and maintain applications following the Repository Pattern and architecture.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Write, optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, LINQ, and asynchronous programming practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Use Git for source control and collaborate effectively within the development team.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development practices.
• Work closely with the Team Lead and other team members to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join our development team. The selected candidate will be employed by our company and assigned full-time to an international health insurance client.

You will work as part of the client's application development team, reporting to a Team Lead and contributing to the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of ASP.NET Core web applications and APIs.

This is a hands-on full-stack development role requiring strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web APIs, Razor Views, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ASP.NET Core MVC web applications and Web APIs.
• Develop both backend functionality and responsive user interfaces using C#, Razor Views, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong experience developing ASP.NET Core MVC web applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful Web APIs.
• Strong experience with Razor Views and front-end web development.
• Good working knowledge of Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core, Code First development, and LINQ.
• Practical experience working with Repository Pattern and Dependency Injection.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including stored procedures and query optimization.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common software design patterns.
• Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a development team under the guidance of a Team Lead.
• Ability to work from Kochi as per the company's hybrid working model.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in health insurance, healthcare, insurance, or related domains is highly desirable.
• Experience working on enterprise or business-critical web applications will be an advantage.
