Job summary

ProLegion in Kochi is seeking a backend developer to design, build and maintain high-performance services for business-critical apps. You will translate requirements with architects and QA to deliver scalable API-driven features while applying SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.

Ideal candidates have hands-on .NET backend experience, Web API design, EF Core data access, and microservices experience, plus strong unit testing habits. Onsite collaboration in Kochi, Kerala, India is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering backend systems using modern server-side .NET technologies.
• Proficiency in building and consuming Web APIs and integrating external services reliably.
• Hands-on experience with API development, versioning considerations, and robust error handling.
• Working knowledge of unit testing practices and the ability to maintain testable code.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and the ability to apply SOLID design principles effectively.
• Experience implementing Clean Architecture or similarly structured approaches for maintainability.
• Practical experience with microservices and application architecture patterns.
• Proficiency with EF Core for data modeling, querying, migrations, and performance-aware data access.
• Ability to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and deliver features with minimal supervision.
