The Hartford in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced Sr. TBM Administrator to join the Tech Strategy & Enablement team to support Apptio TBM/Cost Transparency and related financial management functions.

You will configure, maintain and optimize Apptio modules, build cost models and dashboards, and ensure data integration from diverse sources to enable IT financial transparency and value realization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering or related field.
• Apptio TBM Certification is required (Apptio Certified Practitioner for ApptioOne).
• 4–6 years hands-on experience in Apptio TBM / Cost Transparency with data modeling, integration and reporting.
• Strong IT financial management knowledge including CapEx/OpEx, depreciation and allocations.

Responsabilidades

• Apptio Cost Transparency configuration and maintenance.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for the Apptio platform including production oversight and vendor releases.
• Deliver prioritized Apptio reporting data sources and UI enhancements in collaboration with teams.
• Assist broader teams with design, implementation and rollout across CIO organization leveraging Apptio data.
• Be the Apptio TBM subject matter expert, owning model design, allocations and reporting.
• Administer Apptio modules (ApptioOne – Cost Transparency, Capitalization).
• Develop cost models, dashboards and reporting tools aligned with TBM taxonomy and policies.
• Manage data ingestion from GL, CMDB, asset mgmt, cloud platforms and vendor feeds.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Technology Business Mgmt. Administrator to join the Tech Strategy & Enablement area to support the Technology Business Management function. This role helps enabling financial transparency, cost optimization, value realization and reporting via the ApptioOne Suite of tools (Cost Transparency, Capitalization, Data Link etc.). The Apptio Sr. TBMA will be responsible for building and maintaining Apptio Cost Transparency models and supporting capitalization processes to enable accurate IT financial management. This role ensures visibility into IT spend, aligns costs with business value, and drives adoption of TBM practices across the organization. This position requires deep hands‑on experience with the Apptio TBM / Cost Transparency platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Apptio Cost Transparency –Configuration and maintenance
• Provide day to day operational support for the Apptio platform including production oversight, root cause analytical support and analysis/communication of vendor releases.
• Deliver prioritized Apptio reporting data sources and UI enhancements and capabilities for the Apptio Platform working closely with the persistent team and business community.
• Assist broader team with design, implementation, and rollout for Infrastructure, Services and Business Units across the CIO organization, leveraging cost and outlook data consumed by Apptio.
• Be the Apptio TBM subject matter expert, owning model design, configuration, allocations, and reporting.
• Apptio Platform Administration:
• Configure and maintain Apptio modules (ApptioOne - Cost Transparency, Capitalization etc).
• Develop and update cost models, dashboards, and reporting tools in compliance with TBM taxonomy, internal financial policies and organizational standards.
• Data Integration & Analysis
• Manage data ingestion from GL, CMDB, asset management, cloud platforms, vendor feeds, and insurance‑specific systems.
• Perform variance analysis, trend analysis for technology spend.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines – finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering or a similar discipline with analytical bias.
• Apptio TBM Certification (Apptio Certified Practitioner for ApptioOne).
• 4 to 6 years of hands‑on experience in Apptio TBM / Cost Transparency with proficiency in data modeling, integration, and reporting.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of IT financial management, including CapEx/OpEx, depreciation, and allocations.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) supporting insurance workloads.
• Familiarity with tools such as Rally, Clarity, and TM1.
• Experience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Strong proficiency with Excel & complex financial modeling required (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups).
