Job summary

ASIGN is seeking a Content Editor to create, edit, proofread, and format content for its website, social media, campaigns, and brand communications. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of content writing/editing experience, excellent English, strong research skills, and familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.

This is an on-site, Chennai-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Communications, Literature, Marketing, or related field.
• Excellent command of written English, including grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and proofreading.
• Strong understanding of content writing, editing, formatting, and digital communication.
• A relevant content portfolio demonstrating short- and long-form writing is preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in Content Writing, Editing, Formatting, Copywriting, or related role.
• Experience creating and editing content for websites, social media, blogs, campaigns, and marketing materials.
• Experience working closely with Design, Marketing, and Product teams to develop and publish content.
• Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Claude, or other Generative AI tools for content ideation, drafting, editing, and research.
• Experience with content management/review tools, fact-checking, and quality control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, proofread, and format short- and long-form content for ASIGN’s website, social media, campaigns, and brand communications.
• Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Product teams to develop and publish content.
• Ensure content is high-quality, accurate, engaging, and consistent across platforms.

The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, accurate, engaging, and consistent content, while working closely with the Design, Marketing, and Product teams. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of content/editing experience, excellent English and attention to detail, strong research skills, and familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
