Job summary

BCG is seeking an Asia-Pacific Senior Finance Analyst to support AP FP&A, planning, forecasting, and management reporting across the region. You will partner with local offices and regional stakeholders to deliver analysis, reporting automation, and decision support for business performance.

The role includes in‑person collaboration about 50% of the time. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in finance planning & analysis, strong modeling skills, and experience with SAP, Tableau and AI tools.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/MBA with bachelor’s in accounting or finance.
• 5–8 years’ external experience in FP&A, revenue management, and related areas; professional services preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and management reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Business Objects required.
• Experience with Tableau, Power Query, PowerAutomate; AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for virtual, cross‑cultural teams.

• Provide decision support for bi-weekly revenue analysis, monthly reports, backlog, and PA reporting; ad-hoc as needed.
• Deliver reporting automation initiatives; collaborate with BI&A/product teams on dashboards and programs.
• Prepare materials for regional leadership meetings (EC, OC, WWOM, Leadership).
• Act as backup for AP regional finance team; support roll-out of global finance policies.
• Liaise with Global Services, Global Finance, and other regional functions as required.
• Drive initiatives to improve reporting and analytics across the region.

Role

The Asia-Pacific Senior Finance Analyst is part of the AP Regional Finance Team and supports the AP FP&A Senior Manager in planning, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis. The role partners with local office finance teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to provide decision support, deliver reporting automation, and prepare materials for regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze financial performance across the AP region and identify underlying business drivers.
• Support the planning process, including coordination and consolidation of SBU plans and forecasts; act as subject matter expert and highlight key messages to regional leadership.
• Provide decision support to local office teams on bi-weekly revenue analysis, monthly reporting, backlog reporting, non-billable cost analysis, PA reporting, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Deliver reporting automation initiatives and partner with BI&A/product teams on dashboarding and related programs.
• Support preparation of presentations for regional leadership meetings (EC, OC, WWOM, Leadership).
• Act as backup for other AP regional finance team members and support roll-out of global finance policies, processes, and initiatives.
• Liaise with Global Services, Global Finance, and other regional functions as required.
• Drive initiatives to improve reporting and analytics across the region.

Requirements

• CA/CPA/MBA with a minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Around 5–8 years’ relevant external experience in finance planning & analysis, revenue management, and commercial areas; experience in professional services and experience with BCG finance is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, financial modeling, and management reporting experience.
• Advanced computer literacy and working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Business Object tools required.
• Experience with Tableau, Power Query, PowerAutomate and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) is desired; affinity with developing AI agents and vibe coding preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in virtual, cross-cultural teams and prioritize work under pressure.

Working Arrangement

• The role generally expects regular in-person collaboration; you will typically be expected to work from a BCG office or with clients about 50% of the time, depending on business needs and local policies.
