Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a senior developer resource with 5-12 years of experience in IBM AS/400 RPGLE development. The role requires strong skills in RPGLE, Free format, CLLE, ILE, and API/web services knowledge may be a plus.

Effective communication and analytical abilities are essential to analyze, design, develop, and review code for existing AS400 applications. The candidate will maintain and support AS400 systems, perform code reviews, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust, scalable

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of experience in IBM AS/400 RPGLE development.
• Experience in analysis, design, development and code review.
• Maintain and support of the existing AS400 applications.
• Strong RPGLE, Free format, CLLE, and ILE knowledge.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Exposure to web services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and design solutions for AS400 systems.
• Develop, review, and refactor RPGLE code and modules.
• Maintain and support existing AS400 applications and environments.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to production problems.
