Job summary

Futran Tech Solutions in Chennai is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer – Agent Developer to spearhead the design and development of enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions. You will own agent architecture, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation and production optimization.

You will architect AI Agent frameworks, oversee RAG embeddings, and drive efficient tool-calling patterns while mentoring junior engineers and leading design reviews. A seasoned leader with 10+ years in AI/ML is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• 5+ years in production LLM/GenAI systems.
• Expertise in Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG and Prompt Engineering.
• Expert-level Python development.
• Experience leading AI/ML engineering teams.
• Knowledge of token management, latency and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Role Overview
