Job summary

Valtech in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tech Lead to design, build, and optimize AI-first systems. You will provide technical leadership to a multidisciplinary AI team, champion best practices, and translate business problems into scalable AI solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, drive robust architectures, and mentor teammates while advancing Valtech’s AI accelerators.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on AI engineering experience and 10+ years total work experience.
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices (source control, CI/CD, testing).
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform).
• Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, and ethical AI development.

We are searching for an experienced and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tech Lead to join our dynamic team.

What you do

• As an AI Tech Lead, you will help design, build, and optimize AI-first systems and solutions that advance our digital capabilities and create real value for our clients.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary AI team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and AI use cases.
• Translate abstract business problems into concrete, innovative AI solutions.
• Drive code quality, robust architecture, and documentation within technical teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and upskilling within the AI team.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Work on Valtech’s various AI Accelerators

What we ask

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI engineering and 10+ years of overall work experience.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including source control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and managed AI services such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google AI Platform.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, and ethical AI development.
• Understanding of AI Concepts like LLMs, RAG, AgenticAI, MCPs. Stay updated with the latest AI research and technologies.
• Prior involvement in MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and automation of AI workflows.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, with a willingness to share ideas and collaborate.
• Zeal to learn & Excel.
