Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth in the heavy equipment and construction machinery sector across India, with focus on Pune and surrounding regions.

You will lead dealer development, manage key accounts, coordinate with service, finance, and supply chain teams, and work toward ambitious sales targets.

Candidates should have 10+ years in direct sales of construction equipment, BE/BTech, MBA preferred, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Direct sales experience in construction equipment categories: Excavators, Compactors, Cranes, Piling Rigs, AWP, Widebody Trucks, Mining Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, Electric Equipment.
• Strong territory management and dealer development experience.
• Willingness to travel across India.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop territories, expand market share, and generate new business opportunities.
• Manage dealers, channel partners, key customers, fleet owners, and contractors.
• Conduct product demonstrations, customer meetings, site visits, and promotional activities.
• Build relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financing partners to support sales closures.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with service, finance, application, and supply chain teams for smooth order execution.
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and MIS reports.

Job Purpose

Drive sales growth, market penetration, and dealer development for assigned construction equipment business units across designated territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop territories, expand market share, and generate new business opportunities.
• Manage dealers, channel partners, key customers, fleet owners, and contractors.
