Qualifications

• Relevant degree in dairy or agriculture disciplines.
• 8–15 years of milk procurement experience in dairy/FMCG preferred.
• Experience in farmer engagement and procurement network development.

Area Manager – Milk Procurement

HQ: Our Punjab MCU | Coverage: Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan

Role Purpose:

Responsible for driving milk procurement operations across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, with a focus on building a strong milk procurement network, ensuring quality and quantity targets, and strengthening farmer and field-level relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive milk procurement across assigned states and achieve procurement targets.
• Develop and strengthen the network of farmers, Milk Collection Centres (MCCs), societies and procurement channels.
• Identify new procurement areas and opportunities to increase milk volumes.
• Monitor milk quality, procurement cost, farmer payments and operational efficiency.
• Lead and guide field procurement teams to achieve daily/monthly targets.
• Build strong relationships with dairy farmers and local stakeholders.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and milk availability across the assigned territory.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement processes, quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Dairy Operations, Quality, Logistics and other functions for smooth milk movement and supply planning.
• Travel extensively across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Dairy Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, or a related discipline.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in milk procurement, preferably with a dairy/FMCG organization.
• Strong experience in farmer engagement, milk collection and procurement network development.
• Exposure to multi-state milk procurement operations will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and field execution skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned states.
