Job summary

Envista (India) is seeking an Area Business Manager to lead a team of Sales Managers and drive sales across the territory. You will manage revenue targets, AR, and relationships with key customers while guiding planning, forecasting, and promotional activities.

The role requires extensive Medical Devices experience (12+ years) and 5+ years in people management, with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years' work experience in the Medical Devices industry or selling medical devices/pharma products, preferably in dental and MNC.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in people and team management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage large geography independently.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and execute actions to realize them.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to handle individual customers and key accounts.
• High commitment, initiative, flexibility, openness to innovation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team of Sales Managers.
• Deliver revenue and accounts receivable targets for the assigned geography.
• Lead, manage, and support the sales managers to deliver the revenue and AR for their respective geography.
• Create annual operating plans (AOPs) and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting as per AOP to the Head of Sales.
• Create T&E plans and promotional activities for the assigned geography.
• Manage key customer relationships directly with minimal support from Sales Managers.
• Provide on-the-job product, commercial, and process training to Sales Managers.
• Provide necessary support to HR to hire high-quality talent.
