Role Description

This full-time Architectural Drafter role is an on-site position based in Udaipur. The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and layouts, based on project requirements and design concepts. Day-to-day tasks include translating design sketches into precise CAD drawings, updating documentation as designs evolve, and coordinating closely with architects and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. The role involves supporting planning submissions, organizing drawing sets for construction, and maintaining clear digital and physical records of project documentation. The Architectural Drafter will also collaborate with project teams to resolve design details and contribute to efficient, high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and buildable documentation.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles, including building regulations and basic codes relevant to architectural projects.
• Proficiency in technical Drawing, including the use of CAD or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software).
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to work to deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with architects, designers, and consultants on-site.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and local construction methods in India is an advantage.
• Prior experience in an architecture or design firm, especially on residential or commercial projects, is preferred.
