Job summary

Shoppers Stop is seeking an Architectural Design Executive to support planning and design of retail store projects. The role requires strong architectural fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality retail environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture preferred.
• Minimum two years in architectural design, preferably retail/commercial.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, detailing, and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential; SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural layouts, design drawings, and presentation documents for retail stores.
• Prepare concept designs, space planning, and detailed design documentation.

Job Description – Architectural Design Executive

Looking for candidates to support the planning, design of retail store projects. The role requires strong architectural fundamentals, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural layouts, design drawings, and presentation documents for retail stores.
• Prepare concept designs, space planning, and detailed design documentation.
• Coordinate with project, MEP, visual merchandising, and store operations teams.
• Review drawings for compliance with brand standards, statutory requirements, and project specifications.
• Support store rollouts, renovations, and seasonal design modifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors during design development and execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in architectural design, preferably in retail, commercial, or interior projects.
• Strong academic background with sound knowledge of architectural design principles, construction detailing, and building materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Ms office is essential; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of space planning, retail design standards, and project coordination.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
