Job summary

Morphogenesis invites an architect to join a versatile design team spanning Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Interiors, and Landscape. You will contribute to design development, ensure adherence to sustainability targets, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver cohesive projects.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary growth within Morphogenesis’ mini-studio setup, enabling exposure to diverse projects and discourse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institute.
• Strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop.
• Awareness of architectural standards and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/WELL.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Team collaboration and positive work attitude.
• Familiarity with Morphogenesis procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and consultants to meet design, execution and sustainability goals.
• Guide team to adhere to Morphogenesis design philosophy.
• Source internal/external references to stay updated on global design standards and tech.
• Understand how Façade integrates with Interiors and Landscape, and guide the team.
• Resolve design and technical challenges through innovative thinking.
• Review drawings, specs, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure quality control for all architectural elements.
• Create and maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Contribute to design reviews with documented information.
• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews; address RFIs.
• Assist Team Lead in creating client presentations.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers and consultants and ensure project goals in design, execution, and sustainability are met.
• Have a clear understanding of the Firm’s Design Philosophy and guide the team to ensure adherence to the same.
• Refer to different sources (internal/external) for reference materials to enhance knowledge, stay abreast with global standards of design and technological advancements and guide the team effectively.
• Have a clear understanding of how Façade engages with Interiors, and Landscape and guide the team on the same
• Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking
• Review production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure that quality control activities for all architectural elements are met.
• Create and maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Regularly contribute to Design Reviews by way of gathering and presenting information
• Conduct on-site observations and guide team to document site reviews and address RFI.
• Assist Team Lead in creating Client Presentations.

Requirements

Experience - 0- 8 years

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institute.
• Candidates must have strong design conceptualization and execution skills with high proficiency and experience in using AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, and other advanced software.
• The architect should be well versed in architectural standards/processes and sustainability standards such as GRIHA/LEED/ECBC/ WELL
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines.
• Commitment to working with teams in an engaging and positive way.
• Thorough knowledge of and compliance with Morphogenesis procedures and standards
