vConstruct is seeking architects to design and coordinate prefabricated exterior façade work with US-based clients. You will translate design intent into fabrication-ready models, coordinating with trades and project teams to ensure buildability and efficient workflows.

The role emphasizes Revit-based modeling, shop drawing development, and collaboration across design and construction teams to drive automation and improve consistency on projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• 3 years of experience; previous work on US-based projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with architectural modeling, documentation, detail development, and family creation using Revit; basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

Why does this role exist

vConstruct is seeking architects to support Digital Building Components, a part of the DPR family of companies, on architectural services to design, support, and coordinate prefabrication of finished exterior envelope wall panels composed of drywall system.

By translating design intent into prefabrication fit high-LOD deliverables, you will be a part of design team, driving digital design-to-fabrication workflows and help plan and execute construction with confidence, efficiency, and predictability, ensuring every design element is buildable and ready for the field.

What will you own

• Develop, lead and coordinate design of prefabricated exterior faade for US-based pursuits and projects in the field of Advanced Technology, Healthcare, Higher education, and life-science.
• Develop architectural models for the scope per prefabrication and structural constraints, while engaging in architectural design and trade coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Study and research product data and develop the standard finish details and visuals for prefabrication of various exterior finish systems while working on project mock-ups and product prototypes.
• Develop shop drawings and deliverables of prefabrication components for procurement, coordination, approval, fabrication, and installation.
• Develop model-based take-offs and deliverables for estimation, exports for clash detection and a suitable model environment for Light-gauge steel framing population and machine exports.
• Ensure models and drawings are complete, detailed, and aligned with project specifications related to finishes, fire-rating, sound ratings, waterproofing, thermal requirements.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal team members to identify, coordinate, and resolve design problems and constructability issues.
• Contribute to automation workflows, process improvements, project documentation for better efficiency, quality, and consistency across the team.
• Support Marketing and sales content for the company's wall panel product line preparing samples for internal review and client presentations.

What should you bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture
• 03 years of experience; previous work experience in US-based projects or international construction market is a plus.
• Familiarity with architectural modeling, documentation, detail development, and family creation using Revit; basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, technical documents, and RFIs.
• Solid technical understanding of construction processes, architectural systems, and basic comprehension of structure and MEPF trades.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively within the constraints of prefabrication.
• Inclination towards prefabrication processes, automating workflows, and detail development.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong aptitude, can-do attitude, and solution-focused mindset.

Note that Portfolio displaying Revit/ relevant work samples will be required.

What will make your application stand out

• Experience with prefabrication workflows and working proficiency in shop drawing development.
• Experience working on US-based projects and knowledge of International Building codes, BIM standards, and energy compliances.
• Experience designing and detailing exterior envelopes, finish systems, drywall, fire-rated and acoustic rated systems and waterproofing.
• Experience creating/ handling families and parameter-based modeling in Revit.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, SketchUp, Navisworks, Revizto, MWF, Bluebeam, BIM360/ACC and Excel are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, solve problems, establish positive client relationships, and deliver accurate, detailed, timely outputs in a team environment.
