Job summary

Birlasoft in Pune, India seeks a Senior Architect to lead architecture, design, development, deployment and monitoring of innovative solutions using Node.js, React, TS, Python and GenAI. You will own end-to-end integration, microservices patterns, AWS-based cloud architecture, DevOps/DevSecOps, and guide large teams across internal and client projects with Life Sciences domain emphasis.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in architecture and leadership roles.
• Domain knowledge of Life sciences: Pharma and R&D is required.
• Proven architecture and leadership experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including system and platform integration.
• Lead solutioning on behalf of clients and manage large technology programs as owner.
• Strong business and technology decision making; define and enforce non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture development and define techno-functional roadmaps.
• Oversee integration/API patterns and microservices-based design.
• Guide DevOps/DevSecOps practices across projects.
• Coordinate with application teams, architects, business units and external partners.
• Ensure delivery quality and schedule adherence across multiple projects.

Job description

Architecture, design, development, deployment and monitoring of innovative solutions. Should be well versed with Node JS, React Js, TS, Bootstrap, Java script, HTML, CSS, Python, GenAI (RAG related techs), middleware, Open source, MySQL, Elastic search, Marklogic and cloud-infra (AWS ) architecture. Deep knowledge of cutting edge contemporary technologies to provide futuristic solutions.

Domain knowledge of Life sciences: Pharma and R&D is required.

10 - 12 years of experience.

• Proven architecture and leadership experience producing end-to-end solutions rapidly. Including System Integration and platform integration
• Lead solutioning on behalf of client, lead large programs as technology owner
• Strong business and technology decision making skills are required
• Define and ensure team's deliveries adhere to non-functional requirements and schedule. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design
• Expert in devising and documenting best fit solutions
• Experience working with integration/API patterns. Designing microservices architecture
• Architecture development using AWS services and cloud agnostic solutions
• Innovation and value addition is a key responsibility. Challenge status quo
• Ability to lead a group of internal and external tech leads and development team
• Run an architectural development process, design explanations and collaborate with application development teams, architects, Business, 3rd parties and customer
• DevOps and DevSecOps experience
• Ability to discover and define functional requirements, interview experts, and transform them into technical requirements and architecture definition
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and effectively influence decisions and positively
• Experience with Agile Methodology, Design thinking, working with ambiguity, find own path
