Job summary

7-Eleven Global Solution Center – India is seeking a Staff Engineer to own the architecture, design, and engineering of the Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 environments. The role focuses on secure, scalable endpoint management and enterprise mobility with automation and AI-driven capabilities.

You will lead the design and delivery of innovative solutions, establishing scalable engineering patterns to improve efficiency, security, and service reliability across 10,000+ devices and users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with strong engineering and solution design experience.
• Strong Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and collaboration services experience.
• Azure, Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, and automation experience preferred.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, solution architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize O365 and Intune solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational requirements.
• Deploy advanced Microsoft 365 Services including Enterprise Mobility.
• Develop and troubleshoot Intune policies for security, compliance, and configuration across iOS/iPadOS and Android.
• Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks across M365 and Intune environments.
• Lead solutioning and architecture for enterprise endpoint management, Intune, and Microsoft 365 initiatives, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement automation-first solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure services, Power Automate, and other automation technologies.

Staff Engineer – Microsoft Intune/O365 is a business-critical role responsible for the architecture, solutioning, design, engineering, and strategic direction of the organization’s Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 environment. The role will ensure secure, scalable, automated, and compliant endpoint management while driving modern device lifecycle management, enterprise mobility, automation, and continuous platform improvement.

The role will lead the design and delivery of innovative solutions, leverage modern automation and AI-driven capabilities where appropriate, and establish scalable engineering patterns that improve operational efficiency, security, user experience, and service reliability across the enterprise.

The role is also responsible for the overall administration, engineering, and support of the 7-Eleven enterprise Microsoft 365 and Intune environment within IT Infrastructure Services. This includes implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 services, technologies, processes, roadmap, and strategy that positively impact enterprise productivity. The team supports 10,000+ employee computing and mobile devices across corporate and remote users and drives continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of Microsoft 365, Intune, and collaboration services.

• Leverage PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks across M365 and Intune environments.
• Lead solutioning and architecture for enterprise endpoint management, Intune, and Microsoft 365 initiatives, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement automation-first solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure services, Power Automate, and other modern automation technologies to reduce manual operational effort.
• Identify and drive opportunities for AI-assisted operations, intelligent endpoint management, self-service, and predictive/automated remediation where appropriate.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable automation frameworks, and scalable solution patterns to improve operational efficiency, security, compliance, and service reliability.
• Maintenance of On-Premise and Azure Active Directory environments including Group Policies
• Deployment of Infrastructure improvements on Client environments
• Assist in maintaining and deploying other Client applications and environments
• Leading initiatives for researching and deploying new applications
• Implementation and delivery of IT Projects for Clients
• Coordinating various IT Staff and Operations
• Assist in managing Support Services and related deliverables
• Working with End-Users and Vendors to support applications and environments
• Working with Client Stakeholders on strategy and vision
• Meeting regularly with Clients and attend Client meetings and engaging Executive Management
• Supporting Client initiatives remotely and on-premise
• Routine network maintenance in various Microsoft environments

• Strong Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and collaboration services experience.
• Strong Azure, Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, and automation experience preferred.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, solution architecture, and cross-functional engineering teams preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
• Proficient knowledge in computer hardware and software systems and remote support
• Excellent understanding of intra-department functions and operations
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
