Job summary

IEDesign, an interior design studio, invites a Junior Architect with ~2 years of experience to join the team in Delhi. The role focuses on developing commercial interior concepts, producing detailed drawings, and coordinating with MEP and structural teams to drive project execution from concept to site.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong drawing and material detailing background, and a keen interest in corporate interiors, hospitality, and retail projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial interiors or large-scale interior projects.
• Exposure to working/detail drawings and material detailing.
• Familiarity with furniture and joinery detailing, ceilings and flooring layouts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design concept development, mood boards and material selections.
• Prepare detailed architectural/interior drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop working and construction drawings for commercial interiors.
• Create plans, elevations, sections, and furniture layouts.
• Coordinate drawings with MEP, electrical, HVAC, and structure.

Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Architect with approximately 2 years of professional experience to join our interior design studio IEDesign. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in architectural design, excellent technical drawing skills and a keen interest in commercial interior projects. The candidate will work closely with senior architects, designers and project teams on the development and execution of commercial interior projects from concept through detailed drawings and site execution.

Responsibilities

• Help in preparation of design concepts, Interior design presentation, Mood boards and material boards.


• Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.


• Develop working drawings, construction drawings and detailed layouts for commercial interior projects.


• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, furniture layouts and architectural details.


• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, electrical, HVAC, fire-fighting and structural requirements.


• Develop 3D model.

Requirements

• Preferred Experience


• Experience in commercial interiors, corporate offices, hospitality, retail or large-scale interior projects will be strongly preferred.
