GetixHealth seeks a Medical Billing AR Representative to manage and resolve outstanding insurance and patient accounts receivable. You will analyze unpaid claims, communicate with insurers, appeal denied claims, and ensure timely reimbursement for healthcare services.

The role requires 1-3+ years in Medical Billing AR Follow-up, familiarity with ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS, and strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and billing software is expected; EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years of Medical Billing AR Follow-up experience.
• Experience with physician and hospital billing.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel and billing software; EPIC a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance carriers via phone, payer portals, and correspondence about claim status.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and delays.
• Submit corrected claims and appeals with supporting documentation.
• Verify claim processing accuracy per payer guidelines and contracts.
• Post follow-up notes and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Identify root causes of denials and recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit corrected claims and appeals with supporting documentation.
