Job Description

ROLE OBJECTIVE

To support Program Managers and cross-functional teams in planning, governance, operational execution, and risk management across biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing pipelines. The role ensures seamless coordination, robust documentation, and timely tracking of project milestones while adhering to quality standards and compliance protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning & Governance Support -

• a. Assist Program Managers in creating, tracking, and updating project schedules, Gantt charts, and critical path milestones using tools like Google sheets or Zoho.


• b. Help compile weekly / monthly project dashboards, and progress updates for internal stakeholders.


• a. Maintain project summary spreadsheets, helping highlight potential delays in material procurement or analytical testing workflows.


• b. Assist in monitoring project expenses against the budget, and identify opportunities for cost saving and efficiencies.


• c. Identify / foresee potential risks / hurdles associated with program delivery, and develop mitigation measures to ensure project success.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience and Relevant Skills

Experience:

Recent graduate or entry-level candidate (0–1 years of experience).

Prior experience via academic lab projects, coursework, or internships involving project management life sciences workflows is preferred.

Skills

Technical Expertise

• - Foundational understanding of biopharmaceutical concepts (e.g., microbial cell line development, recombinant proteins, process development, cGMP, and GDP principles).


• - Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Google Workspace and AI tools such as Gemini AI, etc..


• - Basic exposure to project management software (e.g., Zoho) or methodologies (Agile, Lean Six Sigma) is a bonus.


• - Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

Academic Qualifications & Certifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm), or a related Life Sciences discipline.

Certifications (Optional/Preferred): Foundational certifications or coursework in Project Management .
