Job summary

USV PRIVATE LIMITED in Himachal Pradesh is seeking a Senior Operator to Apprentice-Manufacturing to support pressurized production lines. You will perform cleaning, operate equipment, follow SOPs and BMRs, and record data in line with cGMP requirements.

You will assist calibration, maintenance coordination, area sanitization, and timely handovers between shifts while ensuring safety and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and operate equipment and instruments per SOPs.
• Perform manufacturing operations as per BMR.
• Record entries in BMR, equipment logs and formats online.
• Calibrate equipment like weighing balances and maintain records.
• Return extra materials to warehouse and label in-process items.
• Maintain status labeling of equipment, accessories and materials.
• Label and arrange in-process materials and finished products per BMR.
• Follow PPE and safety practices in production.
• Handover production activities to the next shift person.
• Comply with cGMP requirements and start-up pre-checks.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdown calls and PM tasks.
• Provide technical information to QC and update process status boards.
• Maintain area cleanliness and perform sanitization in production.
• Assist in regulatory audits and QMS monitoring (Change control, Deviation, CAPA, etc.).
• Ensure data integrity, GMP and GDP compliance in production.

Job description

• Senior Operator to Apprentice-Manufacturing shall report to Sr. Officer to Jr. Officer-Manufacturing.
• Responsible for cleaning and operation of equipment, instruments as per respective Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Responsible for performing manufacturing operations as per respective BMR.
• Responsible for performing in process tests as per respective BMR.
• To record the entries in BMR, Equipment logs and various formats on line as per respective procedures.
• Responsible for performing the calibrations of equipment like weighing balances as per Schedule and to maintain records for it.
• To return extra materials to warehouse department.
• Responsible for status labeling of equipment, accessories and in process materials.
• To label and arrange the in process materials, finish product as per respective BMR.
• To follow the safety practices (PPE) in production department.
• To handover production activities/plan to the next shift person.
• To follow the procedures with the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• To give break down request to maintenance department.
• To give technical information sheet to QC department.
• To update status board of process cubicles as per the process activity.
• Responsible for area cleaning and sanitization in production department.
• Responsible for conducting predictive and preventative maintenance with engineering department.
• Maintain punctuality and discipline to reach & start work within time.
• All time readiness for internal and external regulatory audit and compliance.
• Keep and maintain 5s in the area.
• To follow the gowning and de-gowning practices in production department.
• Follow pre-start up activity during manufacturing and ensure area cleanness with respect to foreign particle (fiber/hair).
• Issuance & retrieval of documents.
• To update the status of PM & re-qualification of equipment.
• To be responsible to take part and give input & suggestion for quality and compliance monitoring - QMS elements ( Change control , Deviation, OOS, OOT, Incident, CAPA, Complaints, QRM etc.).
• To ensure the compliance on Data integrity, GMP, GDP.
• To follow the safety compliance in production department.
• To ensure completion of necessary /assigned SOP/module/quality event based trainings before initiating GMP work.
