Job summary

GUFIC BIOSCIENCES LIMITED in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, seeks a Production Operator to operate manufacturing and filling equipment under supervision. You will perform start-up, operation, changeovers, shutdowns, and routine checks as per approved SOPs, ensuring GMP compliance.

You should follow batch records, maintain accurate documentation, monitor equipment, report abnormalities, and participate in preventive maintenance with the engineering team, including 5S practices in production areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines under guidance per approved SOPs.
• Perform start-up, operation, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Assist in operating manufacturing and filling equipment.
• Check machine settings and parameters before and during production.
• Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine checks per SOPs.
• Assist in machine changeover activities including dismantling and cleaning.
• Follow batch records, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine and production activities.
• Follow GMP, GDP, and safety requirements; maintain cleanliness.
• Handle raw materials and packaging materials properly during production.
• Adhere to gowning, hygiene, and entry/exit procedures.
• Support in-process activities and quality-related observations to supervisors.
• Observe safety precautions and use PPE while operating machinery.
• Participate in preventive maintenance with engineering team.
• Maintain 5S practices in the production area.
• Assist in investigating deviations with accurate operation data.
• Identify and manage rejected or non-conforming materials per SOP.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

• Operate production machines under the guidance of senior operators and production officers as per approved SOPs.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, changeover, and shutdown activities as instructed.
• Assist in operating manufacturing and filling equipment used in pharmaceutical production.
• Check machine settings and operating parameters before and during production.
• Monitor machine performance and immediately report abnormalities, breakdowns, or unusual observations to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine operational checks as per SOPs.
• Assist in machine changeover activities, including dismantling, cleaning, assembly, and line clearance.
• Follow approved SOPs, batch manufacturing records, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation and record machine and production-related activities accurately and contemporaneously.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and applicable safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the production area as per prescribed procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, components, and packaging materials during production activities.
• Follow gowning, hygiene, and entry/exit procedures applicable to the pharmaceutical manufacturing area.
• Support in-process activities and communicate any quality or process-related observation to the concerned supervisor.
• Follow all safety precautions while operating machinery and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities by supporting the engineering team and reporting machine-related issues.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices in the production area.
• Support investigation of machine or process-related deviations by providing accurate information about operational activities.
• Ensure that rejected, damaged, or non-conforming materials are identified and handled as per SOP.
• Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or production management.
