Job description

Airbus India offers an apprenticeship for the position of In‑Service Engineer: Structures at its Bangalore (Titanium Tech Park) location. This role is part of the In‑Service Engineering department, focusing on airframe repair design and analysis for aircraft structures.

This program is planned for a duration of 12 months and is expected to begin around July 2026, with some flexibility on the start date.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze requests and damage reports received from Airbus customers.
• Propose suitable repair solutions and develop repair designs.
• Carry out stress calculations including static, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments for the proposed repair.
• Prepare approval documentation and support the internal approval process.

Learning and Development

During the apprenticeship, a dedicated tutor will guide you in defining professional goals and building relevant technical capabilities. The program provides exposure to several areas, including airframe design and stress analysis methods, certification specifications and aviation regulatory requirements related to aircraft structures, and engineering problem solving through reverse engineering.

This role also requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, supporting the company's reputation and long‑term success.
