Job summary

Rise People in Noida, India seeks a candidate to own operational bottlenecks using AI and automation. You will report to the Co-CEO and independently scope, design, and deploy solutions that improve our processes 1% at a time.

Daily work includes building AI-powered tools with no-code platforms, integrating APIs, and collaborating with Sales, Finance, Client Experience, and Product to validate improvements. Strong analytical and self-driven traits are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy & operations.
• Advanced experience using AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Comfortable with Excel and analytical tools.
• Bonus: software development, SQL, or scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational inefficiencies across the organization that could be solved with AI or automation.
• Scope, prioritize, and independently execute solutions from discovery to deployment.
• Build AI-powered tools and workflows using existing platforms (no coding required).

We are a Canadian software company providing a complete people management solution. We help businesses streamline payroll, scheduling, timesheets, recruitment, onboarding, and more all in one platform. Our mission is to empower small and medium-sized businesses to build engaged and productive teams while eliminating administrative burdens. We are expanding our global presence with a new business unit in Noida, India, and are actively hiring talented software engineers and other key roles to join our growing team.

Role & responsibilities

Rise has hundreds of small operational issues that individually seem too minor to prioritize, but collectively cost us significant time and efficiency. We are looking for someone to own these and solve them with AI.

You will report directly to the Co-CEO and work independently to understand, scope, and fix operational bottlenecks across the company.

These problems have lingered because no one has had the bandwidth to tackle them, but the right person could jump in and figure them out independently.

Your work will make Rise better 1% at a time, compounding into massive gains over time.

The day-to-day

• Identify operational inefficiencies across the organization that could be solved with AI or automation.
• Scope, prioritize, and independently execute solutions from discovery to deployment.
• Build AI-powered tools and workflows using existing platforms (no coding required; comfort with prompts, APIs, and no-code tools helps).
• Partner with teams across Sales, Finance, Client Experience, and Product to understand pain points and validate solutions.
• Maintain a running inventory of operational improvement opportunities for the company.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, or a similar high-output environment.
• Demonstrated experience using AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) at an advanced level (e.g. projects, skills, customGPTs, connectors), building AI agents, automations, or no-code solutions.
• Comfortable with software of all kinds. Especially comfortable with Excel and analytical tools.
• Fast learner who can absorb unfamiliar domains without hand-holding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You can structure ambiguous problems think through issues systematically, and find solutions.
• Self-directed and resourceful; you don't wait for instructions.
• Clear communicator who can work across teams and seniority levels.
• Bonus: Some software development, SQL, or scripting experience.
