Job summary

Blueprint X Labs Inc. in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to take AI and ML models from concept to production.

You'll build scalable, reliable systems using Python, cloud services, and modern MLOps practices, and own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions. You'll collaborate with backend and frontend teams to integrate AI into product experiences, design and maintain well-documented APIs, and proactively improve AI infrastructure and model performance while upholding quality

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years software engineering; 2+ years deploying ML to production.
• Experience with Python ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) ML services.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of production ML systems from prototype to live services.
• Implement, fine-tune, and optimize models including LLMs for search and recommendation.
• Design, build, and maintain data and inference pipelines with CI/CD, monitoring, and retraining.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend to integrate AI into product experiences.

The Role

Were looking for an Applied AI Engineer to take AI and ML models from concept to production. You'll build scalable, reliable systems using Python, cloud services, and modern MLOps practices, and own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of production ML systems from prototype to live services
• Implement, fine-tune, and optimize models, including LLMs for search and recommendation, for performance, latency, and cost
• Design, build, and maintain data and inference pipelines using MLOps principles for CI/CD, monitoring, and automated retraining
• Collaborate with backend and frontend to integrate AI into product experiences
• Design and maintain well-documented, scalable APIs and services to expose AI capabilities
• Proactively improve AI infrastructure, model performance, and incorporate new techniques
• Uphold quality via code reviews, testing, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years deploying ML systems to production
• Expertise in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and their ML services (for example, SageMaker or Vertex AI)
• Solid understanding of API design and system architecture
• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and vector databases is a strong plus
• Languages and frameworks: Python, Node.js, PyTorch or TensorFlow, LangChain
• Data and ML: PostgreSQL, vector databases such as Pinecone or pgvector, MLflow, Airflow
• Tooling: Git and CI/CD systems
