Main Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Application Test Professional to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Specific Responsibilities

• Manual testing and automation testing.
• Functional, including smoke, integration, system, system integration and regression testing.
• Limited non‑functional testing.
• Analysing requirements documentation and user stories to build standardised test artefacts.
• Creating test data requirements and prerequisites.
• Planning and creating a test traceability matrix for the projects involved.
• Provide technical services over the entire lifecycle of a project.
• Effective professional communication skills (verbal and written) possess the ability to multi‑task.
• Waterfall and Agile methodology work experience.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test procedures and testing outcomes.

Skill Requirements - Essential

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• A basic understanding of programming languages or scripting (e.g., Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML) is a plus.
• Experience with test automation frameworks or tools (e.g., Katalon) is added skill.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging testing trends.

Skill Requirements - Preferable

• DevOps methodology work experience.
• Experience with test automation frameworks or tools (e.g., WebDriverIO is a plus).
• In‑depth knowledge is required on testing basics, and one should have exposure to numerous projects.
• Certification in relevant work domain.
