Job summary

Xplor is seeking a Support Engineer to build and monitor Power BI dashboards, perform SQL data queries for data integrity, and assist the ANZ team with application monitoring. You will track alerts, support SOP creation for Finance & Payment Operations, and perform data analyses across tools to ensure smooth, accurate processing.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in application support with a focus on DB monitoring, strong communication, and experience with REST APIs and testing tools like Postman

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Application Support with emphasis on DB monitoring
• Payments industry experience is a plus
• Strong communication and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with REST APIs and API testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI)
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to manage priorities

Job Description

Build, analyze, and monitor Power BI dashboards to ensure successful data ingestion and validation.

Utilize SQL to perform data queries and support analysis for data integrity checks and troubleshooting.

Assist the ANZ team with application monitoringfrom an App Support perspective.

Track email alerts using monitoring tools for timely file processing, reconciliation, data integrity checks, and highlight any discrepancies.

Actively contribute to the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Finance & Payment Operations.

Perform data analysis tasks as needed, utilizing a variety of tools, including SQL and monitoring platforms.

• Technical analysis, troubleshooting of the production issues.
• Serve as the first escalation point for issues logged by various support teams in the business to resolve complex issues.
• Perform incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis of problems and incidents.

Qualifications

• 2-4years working as an Application Support, with more focus on DB monitoring; payments industry experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills and able to demostrate strong business/technical understanding of the product.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Experience working with tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, etc.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to assimilate new information quickly and translate it effectively to the workplace.
• Ability to convey ideas and offer technical solutions to staff members at all levels.
