Job summary

Getinge Medical India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Application Specialist for the SWP segment in Mumbai. The role focuses on internal and external product training and enhancing user experience for customers in the operating room environment.

Ideal candidates hold a science/medical background with 4–6 years in OR settings, and possess basic computer skills. Willingness to travel across India is mandatory, and fluency in English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science / medical science / nursing / Operation Theatre Technology.
• Approx. 4–6 years’ experience working inside Operating Room as OT Technician or OT Nurse.
• Experience in Orthopedic, Trauma, Neuro- Spine surgery preferred.
• Basic level of computing skills (MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Internet).

Responsibilities

• Adopt knowledge and skill set of Getinge operating table and accessory portfolio.
• Visit customers post OT Table installation and train end users – OT technicians, OT Nurses, Surgeons, Biomedical Engineers on supplied table and accessory.
• Presence in live surgery if requested by end user.
• Support in product demonstrations for new customer prospects.
• Support in generating new leads for accessories.
• Maintain records of customer training.

Job Overview

• To aid SWP business segment through internal and external product training.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Adopt knowledge and skill set of Getinge operating table and accessory complete portfolio.
• Visit customers post OT Table installation and train end users – OT technicians, OT Nurses, Surgeons, Biomedical Engineers on supplied table and accessory
• Presence in live surgery if requested by end user.
• Supporting sales team in product demonstration in new customer prospects.
• Support in generating new lead for accessories
• Maintain record of customer training
• Bachelor’s degree in science / medical science / nursing / Operation Theatre Technology
• Approximate 4 -6 years’ experience of working inside Operating Room as OT Technician or OT Nurse
• Experience in Orthopedic, Trauma, Neuro- Spine surgery will be given priority
• Basic level of knowledge in handling computers along with MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word, Internet is necessary
• Fluency in English, Hindi will be preferred
• Willingness to travel across India is mandatory
