The role emphasizes defining development projects, collaborating with applications teams, and applying Moldflow, 3D printing, and thermoforming to optimize performance across automotive, electrical, and medical segments.

10+ years' experience in injection moulding and component design, with DOE and Six Sigma expertise,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Injection Moulding/Component Design Thermoplastics development.
• DOE, Six Sigma, Stage Gate experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute application development projects to support product development and customer applications of polycarbonate and other engineering thermoplastics.
• Collaborate with internal and external applications engineering teams to meet customer expectations.
• Execute product, asset (injection moulding, 3D printing, thermoforming, etc.), and capability (modelling, Moldflow) development; build a road map aligned with customer needs.
• Understand customer applications and needs for automotive, electrical, electronics, medical, and emerging markets.
