Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Experience: 8+ years (including 3+ years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with strong experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions. The role requires expertise in Microsoft Fabric along with a solid background in modern data engineering and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines, lakehouses, and data models using Microsoft Fabric.
• Work with OneLake, Dataflows, Pipelines, and Notebooks to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into Fabric‑based implementations.
• Integrate Fabric solutions with Power BI and other enterprise data platforms.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and governance across all Fabric workloads.
• Stay updated with new Fabric features and recommend best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience in data engineering/analytics.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data modeling.
• Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Lake, ADF).
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate.
• Experience with Power BI, Fabric Security & Governance.
• Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI integration with Fabric.
