Job summary

Expleo in India seeks an Application Engineer in Robotics with hands-on FANUC 6-axis robot programming to manage automation projects across all phases from design to acceptance.

You will coordinate suppliers, stakeholders and internal teams, ensure adherence to ISA standards and Expleo guidelines, and contribute to project documentation, testing, and commissioning as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics & Instrumentation or Instrumentation & Control with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on FANUC 6-axis robot programming experience.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• Understanding of ISA standards and control system design.

Responsibilities

• Manage automation projects from preliminary design to final acceptance.

Overview

The Application engineer in Robotics is responsible for managing automation projects within the industrial perimeter, ensuring compliance with Expleo standards and guiding projects through all phases from preliminary design to final acceptance. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Qualifications

Graduate in Engineering Disciplines Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience

Essential skills

• Should have the basic understanding of programmable logic controllers,
• Should aware of industry standards and practices (e.g., ISA standards) that apply to control system design.
• Should have firm and increasing understanding of process control concepts and techniques.
• Should understand networking devices & components like ethernet switches, Fiber optic switches,firewalls etc.,
• Should understand the various industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, HART, FF etc.,
• Should have good communication skills.
• Attitude to Works effectively as individual & in team environment and shall be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
