Job summary

Swiss Re - Schweizerische Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft seeks a technically curious engineer to own development, system integration, and technical analysis within the Subledger domain. Qualifications

• Experience across all phases of application development: requirements, architecture, implementation, maintenance, testing, documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in an agile environment.
• Able to deal with ambiguity and influence positive outcomes.

About the team

Globally distributed team of engineers and BA's (Zurich, US, India, Slovakia) working with global stakeholders and significant stakeholder base across locations.

About you

• The ideal candidate should have expertise in software engineering and SAP S4HANA.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Proficiency in object oriented programming languages, database tables/structures and SQL.
• Proven track record across all phases of application development: requirements gathering, architecture, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
