Job summary

Aggreko is seeking an experienced data center pre-sales/solutions architect to lead technical discussions, perform site surveys, and engineer modular power and cooling solutions. The role requires strong electrical/thermal load calculations, BOM creation, and delivery of tailored proposals to meet critical timelines.

The candidate will support onsite commissioning and leverage feedback to improve data center offerings, working closely with customers to address operational pain points.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years in pre-sales/technical consulting in the Data Center industry.
• Deep understanding of DC infrastructure (Power, Cooling, Racks, Connectivity).
• Knowledge of Data Centre fundamentals and organizational processes.
• General understanding of power generation, diesel engines, HVAC/Temperature control, and DC testing levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers to identify needs and engineer tailored power and data center solutions.
• Perform site surveys to assess constraints, logistics, and environmental conditions.

• Create BOMs and PDPs including single-line diagrams and layout drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is an added advantage).
