Job summary

Secure Meters is seeking a technically skilled engineer to identify new applications for existing products and develop innovative solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and other teams to enhance our product offerings while engaging with customers for technical implementation and hands-on troubleshooting.

The role requires hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT, and protocols like Modbus, DLMS, and TCP/IP, with strong knowledge of energy metering and smart metering

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT, and communication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of energy metering, communication technologies, and Smart Metering Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Identify new applications and use cases for existing products to develop innovative solutions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT, and communication protocols such as Modbus, DLMS, and TCP/IP.
• Strong knowledge of energy metering, communication technologies, and Smart Metering Architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the Energy, Power, Metering, or Utilities industry will be an advantage
