This mid-senior level role involves working on distributed architectures and managing complex projects under minimal supervision. The position is contract-based with an onsite requirement post-onboarding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work on ERP system development and interfaces.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for server incidents.

Job Title: Application Developer – System

Mandatory Skills

• Strong communication skills
• AS400 BPCS expertise
• Programming in RPG/400, CL/400, with working knowledge of ILE
• Debugging RPG programs (interactive & batch)
• Strong knowledge of SQL/400, Query/400, database file concepts, job log/dump investigation

Job Responsibilities

• Work on ERP systems and interface development (BPCS, LX)
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents/outages impacting servers
• Design and implement applications with distributed architecture and data manipulation
• Support full software development life cycle, from design to implementation
• Independently handle moderately complex to complex projects under minimal supervision
• Continuously learn and adopt new programming concepts, tools, and methodologies

Good to Have

• Experience in application modernization on System i/AS400
• Knowledge of integration with other ERP systems
