Job summary

Evonith Steel is seeking an experienced SAP HANA ABAP Developer to join our team in Wardha, Maharashtra. The role focuses on developing, customizing and supporting SAP applications in the HANA/S4HANA environment, including ABAP programs, CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori backend integrations.

You will work on performance tuning, RICEFW objects, reports, interfaces, forms and conversions, while collaborating with functional teams for requirements and design.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs on SAP HANA environment.
• Design reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEFW).
• Create CDS views, AMDP, and OData services; integrate with SAP Fiori backend.
• Tune performance and optimize SAP HANA database.
• Collaborate with functional teams for requirements and design.
• Provide day-to-day SAP user support and troubleshooting.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA ABAP Developer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting SAP applications in the SAP HANA/S4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs on SAP HANA environment
• Work on Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Conversions (RICEFW objects)
• Develop CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori backend integrations
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for SAP HANA database
• Collaborate with functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP technical issues
• Support SAP implementation, upgrade, and migration activities
• Handle enhancements using User Exits, BADI, and Enhancement Framework
• Provide day-to-day support for SAP users and stakeholders
• Debug and fix ABAP-related issues across modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP)
• Work on AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) basic knowledge preferred
• Translate functional specifications into technical design and development
• Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment activities
