Job summary

IBM Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking an Application Developer for the Microsoft .NET stack. You’ll participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and build robust, scalable applications powering clients’ digital transformation journeys.

You’ll work with .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and EF, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay current with Microsoft technologies and Agile practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of .NET Core, C#, REST API, LINQ, Entity Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 15+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Jest.
• Proficiency in MS SQL with ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Understanding of CQRS, mediator, repository patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, messaging systems, and reverse proxies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you’ll participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—including design, implementation, testing, and support. You will build applications that power clients’ digital transformation journeys.

• Software Development with Microsoft Technologies: Build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and Entity Framework.

Required Education

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of .NET Core, C#, REST API, LINQ, Entity Framework, XUnit.
• Hands‑on experience with Angular 15+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Jest Framework.
• Proficiency in MS SQL with ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Understanding of CQRS, mediator, repository patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, messaging systems, and reverse proxies.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Knowledge of authentication & authorization techniques (Windows, Basic, JWT).
• Strong understanding of GIT workflows (pull requests, commits, merges).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, TDD, and UML.
