Job summary

Corporate Infotech (CIPL) in Delhi seeks an experienced Senior PHP / Web Application Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications and government portals.

You will work with Core PHP, CodeIgniter/CakePHP, REST APIs, databases, and web technologies to deliver robust, secure, and high-performance solutions for public-sector clients.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core PHP.
• Experience with CodeIgniter 4 and/or CakePHP 5.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Good experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience in developing web portals / web applications / MIS applications.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Experience with Git/version control is preferred.
• Knowledge of Linux/Apache, cPanel, and WHM will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Government / e-Governance projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and/or CakePHP.
• Design and integrate REST APIs using JSON/XML.
• Develop backend modules and database-driven applications.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including queries, optimization, and data management.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external systems.
• Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with clients/stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Manage application deployment and basic server/hosting activities using cPanel/WHM.
• Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support team-level development activities.
