As a PHP Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using PHP and frameworks like CodeIgniter and Laravel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions and contribute to the development of scalable and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Perform bug fixes, troubleshooting, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Write unit tests to ensure code reliability and high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate data storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Ensure the security of applications by following best practices for authentication and authorization.
• Maintain and update existing applications as needed and implement new features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Proven experience with CodeIgniter (CI) and Laravel frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Solid experience working with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for server-side integration with front-end elements).
• Familiarity with deployment processes and cloud hosting services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of PHP testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
• Understanding of caching mechanisms and performance optimization.
• Experience with Laravel Forge or similar deployment tools.
