Job summary

Shasta Tek Solutions in India is looking for a PHP Senior Developer/Lead with 5–9 years of experience to design and deliver robust web applications using PHP frameworks, REST APIs, and modern frontend technologies.

You will mentor developers, build scalable services, optimize SQL queries, integrate third‑party APIs, and lead SPA development while collaborating with product, QA, and operations to ensure quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of PHP development experience.
• Experience with PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter or Laravel.
• Strong RESTful API experience.
• Proficient in SQL tuning and data modeling.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience in PHP development with any one of the PHP frame works(Experience in CodeIgnitor, Laravel is a plus)
• Hands on experience in building restful web services
• Hands on and solid experience in JavaScript/JQuery/AJAX/JSON
• Hands on experience in HTML5, CSS3
• Hands on experience in versioning tools (SVN, Git)
• Should be proficient in integrating 3rd party APIs
• Should be proficient in writing optimized SQL queries, SPs with proper indexing and performance
• Should have experience in developing SPAs (Single Page Application)
• Strong be proficient in Object Oriented Programming and MVC pattern
• Should be proficient in developing and integrating libraries and re-usable components.
• Should have experience in Linux environment
• Should have experience in building data driven applications
